AMA October 2023: Lissa Provost
The AMA (Ask-Me-ANYTHING) program is a series of interactive Zoom video meetings on the web where attendees can ask questions pertaining to their writing and publishing projects. A publishing industry professional, the featured expert, would answer these questions in these monthly live meetings.
Due to a scheduling error, the originally scheduled AMA with Grant Faulkner needed to be postponed to October 24. Registering for the Oct 20 event would get you free access to the one on Oct 24. In addition, we have a bonus AMA event planned for Oct 20!
The featured expert for our October 20, 2023 meeting is Lissa Provost, co-director of the San Francisco Writers Conference and founder of the cooperative publisher New Alexandria Creative Group.
Lissa’s expertise on the ins and outs of the San Francisco Writers Conference and how to get the most out of it fills the room and sets attendees on course for their best conference ever, as she is the opening speaker each year. In addition, she is well-versed in self-educating, self-publishing, and a wide array of resources that can help aspiring authors grow into career authors. She vets all our speakers and sponsors, manages the writing contest, publishes the anthologies, and builds relationships so attendees can make the best possible connections at the conference.
This is Lissa’s first time offering an AMA, so don’t hold back. Her position gives her a unique perspective on the industry.
