AMA November 2023: Mary Knippel
The AMA (Ask-Me-ANYTHING) program is a series of interactive Zoom video meetings on the web where attendees can ask questions pertaining to their writing and publishing projects. A publishing industry professional, the featured expert, would answer these questions in these monthly live meetings.
The featured expert for our November 17, 2023 meeting is Mary Knippel, an international best-selling author, speaker, retreat host, workshop facilitator, and The Soul Story Mentor.
Mary supports authors, coaches, and consultants (in other words, Transformational Leaders) to connect with their soul’s calling and articulate it into the written word. Mary works with her clients to craft professional credibility assets such as books and blogs to grow their business, attract readers and clients, and leave a legacy to allow their message to live on beyond this lifetime.
Drawing on her 40 years of experience as a journalist, Mary has developed a knack for helping her clients get their expertise out of their heads and onto the page. Mary is on a mission to help women’s voices be heard and to empower them to claim the story only they can tell. She hosts Wise Woman Wisdom Retreats twice a year and is the compiler of the collaboration book series “Written In Her Own Words-Wise Woman Wisdom.”
Mary is active in the writing community as a past president of the Women’s National Book Association-San Francisco chapter, and board member of the California Writer’s Club-Peninsula Branch. She has served many roles as part of the San Francisco Writers Conference since the beginning and is currently the Coordinator of the Complimentary Consultations Room at the conference. This is a tremendous benefit for attendees to be able to ask questions one-on-one with industry experts.
