The San Francisco Writers Conference is a complex mix of attendees, presenters, agents, the people who come with them, hotel staff, sponsors, suppliers and the city’s people and businesses. This year’s conference celebrates the many cultures and worlds in the Bay Area with writers from China, India and Persia. The mission of the conference is to build bridges to better tomorrows for everyone connected to the conference by:
- Giving writers the information and inspiration they need to
- write and sell their books
- make them successful
- reach their literary and financial goals
- Providing a forum for writers, agents, publishers, and writers organizations
- Helping writers build the networks they need by creating a community of writers online and off
- Continuing to improve and expand how it serves the writers who spend their money and even more valuable, their time, to come to the conference
- Celebrating the Bay Area’s literary tradition, and its position as the country’s second most important publishing center
Sponsorship Benefit List
Sponsors will be rewarded in ways that make the most sense for each of them based on the level of sponsorship. Here are some of the benefits that can be customized to fit any sponsorship package. Select the ones that will benefit you.
Advertising for the Conference
Sponsors can be included in advertising and promotional materials created for the event. Our ads reach a huge audience of readers across America as well as San Francisco, the Peninsula and the entire Bay Area.
Website Links and Logos
Sponsors can have their websites linked to the San Francisco Writers Conference website to reach an educated audience of writers, publishers, visitors and readers. The link can appear as the sponsor’s logo or name.
Printed Event Program
Sponsors will be thanked in 1,000 keepsake printed programs given to each attendee and used for marketing purposes by the conference throughout the year. Major sponsors can also have ad space and their logos in the program. Additional space can be purchased.
Exhibition Space and Banners at the Event
Sponsors with products and services relevant to writers can enjoy the access to the attendees with a strategically placed table and signage in the registration area.
Flyers and Company Info in Attendee Packets
Let us stuff your brochures, menus or flyers into each attendee packet for maximum attention.
Sponsor Badges for the Event
Major sponsors will be our special guest at the 2013 San Francisco Writers Conference. Sponsorship level will determine the number of badges a sponsor receives.
Special VIP Recognition at the Event
Sponsors will be recognized and thanked from the podium.
An Opportunity to Network at the Event
Major sponsors will be invited to attend an intimate “Friends of the San Francisco Writers Conference” party along with the event presenters.
Memorabilia from the Event
Perhaps a book autographed by a presenter, a San Francisco Writers Conference poster signed by the artist or a SFWC book bag stuffed with writer goodies. We make sure our sponsors will remember the conference with lovely parting gifts and memories.
